Job Title: Support Worker - Poole

Job Location: Poole / Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Salary: Competitive salary

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed term until July

Driving Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Poole. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting patients who are being discharged from hospital, ensuring they have a safe and smooth transition back home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients with their daily needs, including collecting prescriptions and groceries
  • Assist patients with light household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible care
  • Update records and track patient progress

Requirements:

  • Manual driving licence
  • Caring and empathetic nature
  • Basic IT skills
  • Understanding of the NHS and its services
