1. Design, prepare, and deliver stimulating and effective mathematics lessons for students in key stages 3 and 4.
2. Develop and implement curricula that align with educational standards and inspire a passion for mathematics.
3. Employ diverse teaching strategies and resources to cater to various learning preferences.
4. Assess and monitor student progress in mathematics, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
5. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the broader educational community to enrich the learning experience.
6. Engage in professional development opportunities to remain informed about best practices in education.
7. Maintain comprehensive records of student attendance, performance, and other necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Teaching certification or relevant qualifications and experience.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at key stages 3 and 4.
- Strong grasp of mathematical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student success and development.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience in alternative provisions is a plus.
