Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students in key stages 3 and 4
• Develop and implement curricula that meet educational standards and foster a love for mathematics.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to accommodate different learning styles within maths
• Assess and evaluate student progress in maths, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, results, and other required documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, or a related field
• Teaching certification or relevant qualifications and experience
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at key stage 3 and 4
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a genuine interest in the success and development of students.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Experience of working within an alternative provision would be advantageous
