Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals struggling with substance misuse.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans, prioritizing patient care and recovery.
- Deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions, in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects, liaising with prescribers as needed.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and community partners.
Requirements
- Qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a passion for developing clinical skills in a dynamic environment.
- RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake this training.
- Good IT skills and IT literacy.
- Experience working with opiate-dependent patients and sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
