About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant to join our team at Leaders in Care. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and quality care to patients during their perioperative phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and quality care to patients during their perioperative phase
  • Support and assist in the management and organisation of care within the Operating Department
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and yourself
  • Assemble, check, and prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for various procedures

Requirements
  • Registration as a Nurse/ODP with NMC or HCPC
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification
  • ILS certification
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Orthopaedic experience
