We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portering Supervisor to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of porters and ensuring the smooth operation of our portering services.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of porters to ensure efficient and effective delivery of portering services.
- Coordinate the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve portering services and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide training and support to porters to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
