Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portering Supervisor to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of porters and ensuring the smooth operation of our portering services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of porters to ensure efficient and effective delivery of portering services.
  • Coordinate the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
