The Role

We are seeking a Programme Lead Climate Advocacy and Green Buildings to join our Programme and Business Development Team. This individual will lead our climate and green buildings agenda, support our climate advocacy efforts, and drive the organization forward as a global thought and practice-leader in climate-smart and affordable homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for climate advocacy and green buildings
  • Support the development of climate-resilient and sustainable housing solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the organization's climate and green buildings agenda
  • Provide technical expertise on green buildings and sustainability
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals for climate and green buildings initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in sustainable urban development, ideally including affordable housing in emerging markets
  • Expertise in green buildings and their relationship to sustainability goals
  • Knowledge of green buildings certification tools
  • Strategy planning and project management capabilities
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
