Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Reall's climate and green buildings agenda, supporting our climate advocacy efforts and driving the organization forward as a global thought leader in climate-smart and affordable homes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable urban development, affordable housing, and green buildings in emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance Reall's climate and green buildings goals, including governments, industry partners, and civil society organizations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Reall's programme teams, ensuring that climate and green buildings considerations are integrated into all aspects of our work.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in sustainable urban development, climate change, and green buildings, and apply this knowledge to inform Reall's programme design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sustainable urban development, ideally including affordable housing in emerging markets.
  • Expertise in green buildings and their relationship to sustainability goals, such as the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, green buildings' certification tools, such as EDGE, BREEAM, or LEED.
  • Strong strategy planning and project management capabilities, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship building, collaboration, influencing, and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
