About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Lead to join our Public Health Team at Hammersmith & Fulham Council. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in the substance misuse field, leading on work with providers and stakeholders to develop and improve pathways relating to key areas within substance misuse treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative approaches to substance misuse, in response to emerging needs, guiding the implementation of new concepts through to steady state contractual arrangements in partnership with stakeholders and service users.
  • Work with a good understanding of Council policies and legislation, and a background of achieving sustainable improvements, to translate objectives into plans that create a truly compassionate council delivering high quality services for our residents.
  • Drive continuous improvement across our local public health commissioning landscape that will enhance the health and well-being of residents.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level.
  • Extensive knowledge of current legislation, research, policies and guidance.
  • Ability to work effectively with providers and stakeholders to assess the needs and co-morbidities of vulnerable populations.
