About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Toad Hall Nursery Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, adhering to our policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, building relationships with children and their parents, and ensuring every working day is fun and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that meet the needs of children
  • Build relationships with children and their parents
  • Ensure every working day is fun and enjoyable
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
  • Awareness of the role of planning, observation, and keeping records when caring for nursery-aged children
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
  • Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
