We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Healthcare Support Worker to join our Day Services Unit team at The Horder Centre, a CQC Outstanding hospital. As a key member of our clinical and nursing team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a variety of tasks, including recording basic nursing practices, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, as well as undertaking capillary blood samples for point-of-care testing.
- Work collaboratively with our team of clinical and nursing experts to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- A passion for healthcare and experience working with patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- A NVQ Level 2 or 3 is desirable, but not essential.
