As a key member of our catering team at Horder Healthcare, we are seeking a motivated and team-orientated Kitchen Porter Assistant to join our team. This permanent, part-time position (30 hours per week) based on a rota pattern, which will include weekend work (paid at an enhanced rate), is ideal for someone with a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to delivering high-quality food service.

Responsibilities will include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas, and occasionally helping with food prep work. As a team player, you will be invaluable in making sure our catering areas are always sanitized and tidy.

About you:

  • Fantastic attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable, but not essential
  • Prior experience within a kitchen / catering environment
  • A team player, with enthusiasm to support in other areas of the catering department as and when required
