About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors on governance and compliance matters.
  • Lead a small team responsible for governance, regulatory, and legal compliance, data protection, insurance, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement effective governance and compliance strategies to ensure the organization's operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the organization's compliance with new laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of company constitutions and group governance arrangements.
  • Working knowledge of data protection legislation and good practice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Ability to lead a small team and provide guidance and support as needed.
