About the Role:

Bluesky International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join its team as an Aerial Survey Operations Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a talented individual to operate our suite of aerial survey sensors in our survey aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate aerial survey sensors in our survey aircraft
  • Assist with the delivery and fulfillment of high-quality aerial survey projects
  • Maximize opportunities and ensure data quality and specification
  • Flight planning and sensor installation
  • Train other members of staff in flight planning, data processing, and other tasks
  • Liaise with aircraft operators and ensure permissions, visas, etc. are in place
  • Monitor weather conditions to identify suitable weather windows for data capture
  • Provide technical leadership and manage sensor and software development and improvement
  • Field testing and calibration of instruments

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and communicate fully in English
  • Proven experience of aerial survey
  • Experience and understanding of Aerial Survey and Remote Sensing
  • Experience of flight planning and weather monitoring
  • Degree in a Geographical, Remote Sensing, or GIS-related discipline
