About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Operative to join our team at Bluesky International Limited. As a key member of our aerial survey operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality aerial survey projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Air Traffic Control and other departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and implement effective flight planning strategies to maximize data capture
  • Install and maintain aerial survey sensors to ensure optimal performance
  • Train and mentor other team members in flight planning, data processing, and other relevant tasks
  • Collaborate with aircraft operators to ensure all necessary permissions and visas are in place
  • Monitor weather conditions to identify optimal data capture windows
  • Provide technical leadership to drive sensor and software development and improvement
  • Conduct field testing and calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and possess excellent communication skills in English
  • Proven experience in aerial survey operations and remote sensing
  • Strong understanding of aerial survey principles and techniques
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
