Job Summary:

Bluesky International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join its team as an Aerial Survey Operations Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in aerial survey operations, geospatial data collection, and survey aircraft management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage Bluesky's suite of aerial survey sensors in survey aircraft, ensuring high-quality data collection and delivery of projects to clients.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the aerial survey operations team, including flight planning, data processing, and sensor development.
  • Liaise with aircraft operators and ensure all necessary permissions, visas, and documentation are in place for project commencement.
  • Monitor weather conditions to identify optimal data capture windows and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Train and mentor other team members in flight planning, data processing, and other relevant tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in aerial survey operations, geospatial data collection, and survey aircraft management.
  • Strong understanding of aerial survey and remote sensing principles, including sensor development and calibration.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and proficiency in English.
