Geospatial Data Collector

Bluesky International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join its team as an Airborne Operator. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in aerial survey operations and a passion for delivering high-quality geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities- Operate airborne camera and sensing systems, including Vexcel Eagle, Optech Galaxy, and Leica CityMapper.
- Ensure sensor systems are calibrated at an operational level at all times in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- Liaise with sensor manufacturers regarding maintenance and other issues.
- Liaise with Air Traffic Control and other departments for permission.
- Flight planning and sensor installation.
- Train other team members in flight planning, data processing, and other tasks as needed.
- Liaise with aircraft operators to ensure all necessary permissions and visas are in place before project commencement.
- Monitor weather conditions to identify suitable weather windows for data capture.
- Provide technical leadership to direct and manage sensor and software development and improvement.
- Field testing and calibration of instruments.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and communicate fully in English.
- Proven experience in aerial survey operations.
- Experience and understanding of aerial survey and remote sensing.
- Experience in flight planning and weather monitoring.
- Organized with the ability to multitask.
- Analytical, numeracy, and well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Diplomacy and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in a geographical, remote sensing, or GIS-related discipline.
