We are seeking a Paediatric Community Nurse
Thornbury Community Services is a leading provider of community care services, and we are currently looking for a Paediatric Community Nurse to join our team on an ad hoc basis.
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Paediatric Community Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to young people in their own homes, avoiding hospital admissions and ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bespoke care and support to young people with complex needs, including Tracheostomy Care and Suctioning, Tracheostomy Tube Change, ventilation via Tracheostomy, and ventilation via a mask.
- Work closely with families and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to families on how to care for their child at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months' UK experience in the last two years working closely with people with clinical complex needs.
- Availability for last-minute shifts on an as-and-when basis.
- Willingness to travel to clients' homes.
