Electrical Project Coordinator

The Electrical Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful execution of significant projects while overseeing smaller initiatives. This position is essential in ensuring that Ltek Recruitment Ltd achieves its goal of being a premier provider in the niche HVAC market, all while upholding the core values of business intent, customer engagement, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Project Support: Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the project scope is delivered effectively, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, and M&E capacities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders, including clients and management.
- Scope Review: Analyze and comprehend the scope of works related to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Design Interpretation: Understand and interpret design documents, including schedules, control philosophies, and technical drawings.
- Sub-Contractor Liaison: Engage with other subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Client Interaction: Maintain direct communication with the client's project delivery team to address any concerns or requirements.
- Team Direction: Guide ATS employed operatives and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Risk Management: Contribute to the Project Risk Register, proactively identifying and addressing potential project risks.
- Cost Management: Assist the Project Manager in managing project costs, including variations and changes to the scope.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including the development of site-specific RAMS.
- Quality Assurance: Understand and manage the quality requirements of the project, ensuring compliance with the ITP and Quality Plan.
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Attend FAT sessions to verify that systems function according to project specifications and supplier drawings.
- Documentation: Develop and compile the Operations and Maintenance manual for project handover.
- Client Training: Participate in training sessions for clients and end-users, providing support during the commissioning phase.
- Troubleshooting: Address issues during commissioning by diagnosing system malfunctions and proposing solutions.
- Vehicle Management: Maintain company vehicles in accordance with relevant procedures and legal obligations.
- Manage your own time effectively while collaborating with various internal teams.

- Minimum of 4 weeks of holiday plus statutory holidays.
