We are representing a leading Civil contractor in their search for an experienced Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer to join their prestigious heavy Civil Project in the UK.

As a Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the project by conducting precise setting out and surveying activities, conducting thorough quality control checks, and maintaining comprehensive records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precise setting out and surveying activities
  • Conducting thorough quality control checks and maintaining comprehensive records
  • Assisting senior engineers and project managers in ensuring all operations are carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • A valid CSCS Gold or White card
  • Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working on heavy civil projects in the UK
  • Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments
  • Familiarity with method statements and risk assessments
  • Good knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) processes and the ability to manage onsite paperwork
