Paediatric Anaesthetist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthesia services to children across a range of specialties, including paediatric surgery, intensive care, and transport of critically ill children.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be expected to participate in the paediatric on-call rota, providing anaesthetic services to children in a tertiary centre. The duties will also include teaching, continuing medical education, and quality improvement activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Person Specification- 6 months advanced level experience of paediatric anaesthesia in a tertiary centre.
- Training and experience in Paediatric Intensive Care and the transport of critically ill children.
- Level 2 Child Protection Training.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care, with a focus on paediatric anaesthesia. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
