Senior Electrical Systems Engineer – Staffordshire –

As the company continues to thrive, they are seeking to recruit a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join their esteemed team, contributing to an array of expanding project opportunities.

The Senior Electrical Systems Engineer will primarily operate from the office in Stafford, focusing on the design of hardware systems utilizing various components, with a key emphasis on MCCs, PLCs, Switchgear, and Drives & Controls.

Key Requirements for the Senior Electrical Systems Engineer:

  • Eligibility for security clearance, potentially including DV.
  • Strong proficiency in designing electrical panels that incorporate PLCs and low-voltage distribution systems.
  • Experience in the design of containment systems and electrical cabling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Collaboration with production teams to ensure designs are realized effectively.
  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with IEC BS EN standards and low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.
  • Capability to develop technical solutions that align with customer and project expectations.
  • Working knowledge of BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
