Family Services Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Services Practitioner to join our team at the Cardinal Hume Centre. As a key member of our Family Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting families experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver safe, creative, and inclusive play and learning opportunities for children and families.
- Provide outreach support and practical help to families in need, including assistance with housing and financial insecurity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve improved long-term outcomes for children and families.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and services to enhance our support offerings.
- Enhanced DBS check and children's barred list clearance.
- Ability to work flexibly, including Saturdays, to meet the needs of our clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with families.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families experiencing homelessness.
