Job Title: Active Directory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Active Directory Specialist to join our team at Adroit People Limited. As an Active Directory Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex Active Directory environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Active Directory environments, including role-based security delegation and layers
  • Manage DNS, WINS, and DHCP services
  • Implement PKI services and SMTP proxy services
  • Manage firewall controls and configure DFS, HA, Clustering, and SOFS
  • Implement RDS, VMWare, vCenter, ESXI, vMotion, HyperV, and VMM Terminal Services
  • Implement MS Cloud incorporating Exchange, Storage, and Shares App services
  • Implement Citrix deployments incorporating PVS and MCS
  • Implement APP-v incorporating Citrix StoreFront
  • Develop PowerShell scripting skills and implement MBAM, BitLocker, and VPN
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Windows Server certification
  • Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge
  • Role and functional-based security delegation and layers knowledge
  • DNS, WINS, and DHCP knowledge
  • PKI services knowledge
  • SMTP proxy services knowledge
  • Firewall management and controls knowledge
  • DFS, HA, Clustering, and SOFS knowledge
  • RDS, VMWare, vCenter, ESXI, vMotion, HyperV, and VMM Terminal Services knowledge
  • MS Cloud incorporating Exchange, Storage, and Shares App services knowledge
  • Citrix deployments incorporating PVS and MCS knowledge
  • APP-v incorporating Citrix StoreFront knowledge
  • Powershell Scripting knowledge
  • MBAM, BitLocker, and VPN knowledge
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
  • Microsoft, Citrix, and VMWare certifications
  • Wider understanding of client or midrange OSes, networking, and security
  • HyperV, Azure, and Google Cloud knowledge
  • HP BladeSystem, or similar blade servers/blade chassis and interconnect technologies knowledge
  • HP Cloud Service Automation, or similar self-service cloud management technology knowledge
  • HP Server Automation, or similar system configuration/software deployment technology knowledge
  • Symantec Datacentre Security, or similar security policy enforcement product knowledge
  • A deep understanding of Virtualisation and Container technologies
  • Design of large, complex systems including practical experimentation and development skills
  • Great client engagement skills
  • Knowledge or appreciation of some of the listed technologies

You will be required to adhere to all UKPS client security controls and restrictions.
