Geriatrician Specialist with Surgical Liaison Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatrician Specialist with expertise in Surgical Liaison to join our team at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Support inpatient services and contribute to the development of our frailty virtual ward.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
- Participate in innovative service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the training and education of junior doctors and medical students.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Full MRCP or equivalent qualification.
- Meet the criteria set out in the generic capabilities framework for specialist grade.
- At least 12 years of postgraduate practice experience, with a minimum of 6 years in the relevant specialty.
- General training in Geriatric medicine to specialist level or equivalent.
- Appropriate higher degree (e.g., MD, PhD, or equivalent).
- Experience of clinical audit and research.
- Completed 'Train the Trainers' course.
- Relevant research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrate leadership skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to motivate staff and facilitate changes in clinical practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enthusiasm, and approachability.
