We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving innovation, shaping educational initiatives, and growing professionally within a collaborative and supportive environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and deliver a comprehensive Programme of Learning and Insights. You will be responsible for managing both online and in-person learning initiatives, ensuring all activities meet accreditation standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging members for participation in both online and in-person learning sessions and gathering inputs for promotional materials.
  • Organizing focus groups to determine key topics and working with speakers to prepare presentations.
  • Managing post-event activities, including video editing and the distribution of attendee feedback surveys.
  • Analyzing programme feedback, producing management reports on member attendance and satisfaction, and using data to improve future initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

As a Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive Learning and Development strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Identifying and sourcing third-party training solutions that meet the evolving needs of members.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records of learning initiatives within the CRM and company website.
  • Overseeing the delivery of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (D,E&I) and Mental Health in Business programmes to ensure they reflect current industry standards and member needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, event management, or educational programme delivery.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Experience in post-event production tasks, including video editing and survey creation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate insights from feedback and performance data.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and CII accreditation (desirable but not essential).
