Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out installations of aftermarket MC and MG systems, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the sales team with technical backup.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installations of aftermarket MC/ MG systems, including responding to customer requests, delivering accurate installations, and producing documentation post-installation.
- Assist and carry out site localisations and base station setups as required.
- Provide training support for installs of aftermarket MC/ MG systems on site and at point of sale.
- Update CRM system with support call details, install details, and asset details.
- Maintain close liaison with customers and other departments to ensure the promotion of Marubeni Komatsu Ltd.
Requirements
- Experience of working with heavy plant and machinery.
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
- GSCE's grades C or above.
- Ability to work independently and to deadlines.
- Good communication skills, self-motivated, and well-organized.
- Technical aptitude, problem-solving, and proactive.
- Install experience of aftermarket GPS machine systems - desirable.
- Experience of working with a CRM system - desirable.
- Knowledge of Trimble, Leica, and Topcon machine control workflows - desirable.
- An understanding of GNSS and GPS for earthworks and civil engineering - desirable.
