About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Product Designer to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Junior Product Designer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality product designs that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product designs that meet business objectives.
  • Design and develop product prototypes using CAD software.
  • Work closely with designers and buyers to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.
Requirements
  • Strong design and CAD skills with an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of trend interpretation, current competitive marketplace, and product design.
  • Experience in briefing and specifying direct design sourced product, working with Technology/Design and Buying to create high standards of Tech Packs.
  • High level of proficiency in Design IT applications to optimise the quality of design work e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD.
  • Multitask orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines to the Design and Buying critical path.
