We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Colas Road UK on a 6-month fixed-term basis. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating highway maintenance activities, ensuring efficient working practices, and supporting the operational team.
Main Responsibilities- Programme and record current and future works for the operational team, allocating resources to meet deadlines.
- Monitor activity times and make changes to programmes and schedules to meet client requirements.
- Report and manage non-compliance to programme or schedule.
- Actively participate in managing outputs of gangs and plan and schedule works in the most efficient manner.
- GCSE A* - C in English and Maths.
- Experience within Highways and reactive maintenance, such as pothole repairs and organising response to Highway emergencies.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A salary between £28,000 and £33,000 (dependent on experience and licences).
- Our Colas Pension Scheme has combined contributions of up to 10%.
- Life Assurance Scheme which is x4 basic salary.
- 25 days annual leave per year + Public Holidays.
