Colas Ltd is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our team on a fixed term basis. As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and recording current and future works for the operational team, allocating resources to ensure timely completion, and identifying potential resourcing issues. You will also support the Operations team and Workshop team with various office-based tasks, monitor activity times, and make changes to programmes and schedules as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in highways maintenance, reactive maintenance, and emergency response, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Main Responsibilities:

  • Programme and record current and future works for the operational team
  • Allocate resources to ensure timely completion
  • Identify potential resourcing issues
  • Support the Operations team and Workshop team with office-based tasks
  • Monitor activity times and make changes to programmes and schedules as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in highways maintenance, reactive maintenance, and emergency response
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Proactive and motivated approach
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
