Role Responsibilities

The institution seeks an enthusiastic and driven Business and IT Educator to instruct students in Business Studies and Information Technology across various educational stages. The ideal candidate will motivate and engage learners, guiding them to reach their highest potential.

Key Duties

  • Design and implement stimulating and rigorous lessons in Business Studies and IT.
  • Evaluate, track, and communicate student progress effectively.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Business and IT curriculum.
  • Engage in departmental and institution-wide initiatives and events.
  • Provide guidance and support to students.

Qualifications

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A relevant academic degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a UK educational setting is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies and/or IT at the secondary level.
  • Strong expertise in the subject matter and a genuine enthusiasm for Business and IT.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to inspire and motivate students across diverse abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching A-Level Business Studies and/or IT.
  • Awareness of contemporary educational trends and technologies.
  • Previous experience in a similar educational role.
