We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Meadowcroft - The Gallery, Wakefield. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the school curriculum to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their educational and emotional well-being.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake the normal responsibilities of a class teacher, including teaching across both key stages.
- Attend teacher meetings as required and undertake duties delegated by SLT.
- Establish, maintain, and develop a calm and safe learning environment.
- Provide and promote the emotional well-being of each individual pupil.
Meadowcroft is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 5-19, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs. Our dedicated team works together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
