About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Meadowcroft - The Gallery. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the school curriculum to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their academic and personal development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake the normal responsibilities of a class teacher, including teaching and assessing pupils.
  • Attend teacher meetings as required and participate in staff development activities.
  • Undertake duties delegated by the Senior Leadership Team, including supporting the development of a calm and safe learning environment.
  • Provide emotional support and well-being to each individual pupil, reflecting our commitment to educating the whole pupil.

Class Teacher Responsibilities

  • Teach across both key stages, including some provision for cover of absent teachers.
  • Be responsible for teaching and assessing pupils, including some provision for cover of absent teachers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
