About the Role

Duration: 8-10 weeks

SSE Enterprise is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Finance team as a Summer Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

As a Summer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with various finance-related tasks, including financial analysis, reporting, and project work. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and financial projects, gaining valuable insight into the energy industry and developing your understanding of what SSE Enterprise really does.

You will be entrusted with graduate-level responsibilities and will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and professionally qualified SSE Enterprise staff. You will also become part of the SSE Enterprise trainee community with an allocated buddy, and will have access to our finance-wide social events to broaden your network and build relationships.

This summer placement setup will offer a unique opportunity to work with and gain experience in financial accounting, management accounting, and business decision-making over an 8-10 week period.

What You'll Need

Qualifications: You will be entering your final year of study in the autumn and will be studying an accountancy, finance, or business degree.

Skills: You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
