Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding summer placement that will help you develop your skills in project management? Our 10-week Project Management Summer Placement is the perfect opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact in our business.

As a project management summer placement student, you will work on meaningful projects across our business, developing your understanding of project management, building new skills, and gaining exposure to various functions, including Construction, Planning, Strategy, Operations, and Estimating.

You will contribute to high-profile projects, preparing presentations and reports, managing important contracts, and building relationships with stakeholders. You will also gain basic engineering knowledge and develop your interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with people at all levels.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for inquisitive self-starters with a strong work ethic and the confidence to challenge how things are done. You should have an eye for detail, be able to approach problems calmly, and possess strong organisation skills, good teamwork, and the ability to empathise.

What You'll Get Out of It

As a summer placement student, you'll be surrounded by supportive colleagues and receive coaching from senior staff. You'll gain a rounded experience of what it takes to work in Project Management at Network Rail and have the opportunity to impress us and be considered for next year's graduate scheme.
