Job Overview
We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aberdeen. As a Design Engineer, you will work under supervision to produce technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, layouts, and schematics, to meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality engineering documentation, prioritizing workload to ensure successful completion.
- Perform drawing and model checking to ensure conformance to design intent and requirements.
- Enter engineering documents into PDM systems and configure as required.
- Upload information to engineering databases and utilize technical software packages.
- Participate in engineering meetings and design reviews, providing input and expertise as needed.
- Liaise with internal and external departments to resolve questions and queries, and collaborate with the Manager on any issues or concerns.
Requirements
- Hold a technical qualification.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor, and Advitium.
- Previous work experience in a design environment, preferably in a related industry.
