About the Role

As a Community Responder for Medequip Connect, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to vulnerable individuals in their own homes. You will work a flexible 24/7 rota, responding to alarm calls and assessing the care and support needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to alarm calls and assess the care and support needs of clients
  • Provide or facilitate appropriate support to clients, including last resort personal care when necessary
  • Deal with referrals, maintenance, and installation of alarm equipment at client premises
  • Explain the operation of alarm equipment to clients and their families
  • Assist with the promotion of the service in local communities
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license and access to an appropriately insured and taxed vehicle for business use
  • No specific experience necessary, but a responsible and caring nature is essential
  • Full training will be provided
