**Job Summary**
E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Factory Production Manager to lead a small multi-functional production team at one of our client's micro manufacturing plants in the UK. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for driving manufacturing excellence and achieving key targets within the factory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective communication plans to promote company, factory, and team objectives.
- Lead and motivate the production team through performance reviews to ensure delivery of objectives.
- Apply technical expertise to facilitate the rigorous application of manufacturing techniques and generate continuous improvement across all areas of manufacturing capability.
- Implement and adhere to company and factory control procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements in health and safety, environmental, and quality systems.
- Develop systems and standards to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping using the 5S principles.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes with a strong focus on CI and/or lean manufacturing techniques.
- Demonstrable organizational skills, including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, develop, and improve the team.
- A strong appreciation of the importance of safe working practices and health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
Training and Development:
E3 Recruitment's client is committed to operating to world-class standards and offers a focused program of training and development for the successful candidate. This will include:
- ILM Program (Management and Leadership) through to level 7 - postgraduate.
- Health and Safety Management Training - NEBOSH.
- IEMA - Environmental Management.
What We Offer:
- Base salary £40k per annum, plus bonus.
- Double-digit company pension.
- 33 days holiday per annum.
- Days-based position, Monday to Friday.
