We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, European IP and Regulatory Litigation to join our team. As a key member of our European IP and Regulatory Affairs team, you will be responsible for supporting the business through pan-European regional patent litigation.

About the Role

As a Director, European IP and Regulatory Litigation, you will be responsible for managing complex, high-value pan-European pharmaceutical patent and regulatory exclusivity litigation strategies to advance Teva's commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product launch strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams within Patents, EU Legal, Portfolio, Commercial and Regulatory Affairs teams.
  • Advocate for policy positions in collaboration with global government affairs colleagues and communicate these positions both internally and with external industry associations.
  • Coordinate and lead IP and regulatory exclusivity training programs for non-specialist internal colleagues.
  • Instruct and manage external law firms and counsel to ensure adherence with strict cost management principles and billing guidelines.
  • Create new processes and implement existing litigation team policies and processes to promote efficiency, visibility, and cross-functional communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant experience of international IP and regulatory litigation within a pharmaceutical/life sciences company or law firm representing equivalent clients.
  • A proven track record of managing a complex and high-value/impact caseload and operating with the highest degree of integrity.
  • A business understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • The ability to develop cross-functional/cultural relationships.
