Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Manage key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues.
  3. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth.
  4. Identify and pursue new market opportunities within Europe to expand the customer base.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, presenting products and services as needed.
  6. Generate sales opportunities through proposals and presentations.
  7. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless sales, marketing, service, and credit operations.
  8. Manage cost evaluations, budgets, pipeline development, and business retention.
  9. Provide detailed sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  10. Stay up-to-date on products, market trends, and competitors through ongoing research.
  11. Ensure adherence to company policies, terms, and conditions.
  12. Participate in industry events and tradeshows to promote the company's products and services.
  13. Select, develop, and train team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Fluent German language skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in another European language, such as French, Italian, or Spanish, is beneficial.
  • Degree-educated background.
  • Experience in the food or packaging sector is required.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Driven, ambitious, and motivated individual.

Compensation:

Salary: between £60,000 and £80,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance and bonus.
