Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within Europe to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, presenting products and services as needed.
- Generate sales opportunities through proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless sales, marketing, service, and credit operations.
- Manage cost evaluations, budgets, pipeline development, and business retention.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date on products, market trends, and competitors through ongoing research.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, terms, and conditions.
- Participate in industry events and tradeshows to promote the company's products and services.
- Select, develop, and train team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Fluent German language skills are essential.
- Proficiency in another European language, such as French, Italian, or Spanish, is beneficial.
- Degree-educated background.
- Experience in the food or packaging sector is required.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Driven, ambitious, and motivated individual.
Compensation:
Salary: between £60,000 and £80,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance and bonus.
