About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Document Control Manager to join our team at Anglian Water's @one Alliance. As a key member of our Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Document Management System and supporting our project teams in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of 2-4 Document Controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that the use of BIM 360 Docs is understood and supported.
  • Work closely with the Design Managers to identify opportunities to develop procedures, guidance, and training materials to support the effective use of BIM 360 Docs.
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, including establishing review workflows, adding project team members to projects in BIM 360, and setting and managing permissions.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant policies and procedures, identifying and addressing any risks to the security of information.
  • Continuously coach and mentor members of the Engineering team on the correct use of BIM 360 Docs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have previous administrative experience, with a strong understanding of how this role can contribute to successful project delivery. Previous management experience and BIM 360 experience are highly desirable.

You will have a passion for detail, ensuring that colleagues have the knowledge, skills, and support to understand and embrace the detail. With experience of presenting to all levels of the business, you will possess a 'can-do' attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

You will be a strong communicator, able to build relationships with project stakeholders and provide guidance and support to the Document Controllers. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
