We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship) in Legal Theory. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the area of legal theory, with a focus on Glasgow Legal Theory.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and lead research projects in legal theory, with a focus on Glasgow Legal Theory
- Teach and assess students in the area of legal theory, including undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Contribute to the development of the School of Law's research profile, including securing external research funding
- Supervise and mentor postgraduate research students
- Contribute to the effective management and administration of the School of Law
- PhD in a relevant field, with a strong research profile in legal theory
- Experience of teaching and research in legal theory, with a focus on Glasgow Legal Theory
- Ability to design and deliver high-quality teaching and research programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
