Role: Principal Safety Assessment Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake nuclear hazard analysis (HAZAN) to identify and assess potential hazards
- Develop and maintain safety cases to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with delivery partners to manage and work with stakeholders at all levels
- Provide technical writing and documentation services to support safety case development
- Ensure alignment with client processes, values, and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in nuclear safety case writing and hazard analysis
- Strong understanding of ALARP and safety case development principles
- Ability to work in a highly regulated industry and manage multiple stakeholders
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Degree or equivalent in a science-based or engineering subject
