Job Description

Role: Principal Safety Assessment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake nuclear hazard analysis (HAZAN) to identify and assess potential hazards
  • Develop and maintain safety cases to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with delivery partners to manage and work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Provide technical writing and documentation services to support safety case development
  • Ensure alignment with client processes, values, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in nuclear safety case writing and hazard analysis
  • Strong understanding of ALARP and safety case development principles
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated industry and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Degree or equivalent in a science-based or engineering subject
