Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK is seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for undertaking and completing detailed inspections of all components using the latest criteria and inspection equipment. You will also create and modify component overhaul/repair routes within SAP as required, ensuring that all information is recorded accurately. Additionally, you will work to production priority lists, interface with technical engineering and other production departments, and train and mentor other team personnel. The ideal candidate will have an aerospace apprenticeship, maths and English GCSE A-C grades, and extensive experience in an aerospace engineering or equivalent environment. You will also have previous mechanical component inspection background, PC literacy, and experience working within an SAP computer system. Good knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment, as well as previous practical experience using imperial measurement tools, is also required. Shift work, including Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday, is a must. Further training will be provided. A legal work permit in the UK is mandatory.
