At Routes To Work South, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and varied programme of leisure activities and social events for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a weekly social events programme, ensuring that it is advertised within the home and engaging for residents.
  • Organise social and recreational events within and outside the home, promoting community involvement and resident participation.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the programme on a regular basis, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with relatives, team members, and community groups to provide residents with a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain a suitable stock of social events and hobby equipment, ensuring that residents have access to a wide range of activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with vulnerable adults, with a focus on creating engaging and inclusive programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and community groups.
