About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional food and customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of catering professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee the efficient management of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and implementing action plans to drive business growth.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with line managers to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK and maintain a positive brand image through excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Service Innovation: Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Support and train team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and review Health and Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements
  • Passion for Food and Service: Be passionate about delivering great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • Management Experience: Have a minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry.
  • Team Management: Have experience managing teams in a similar role.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Communication and Organisational Skills: Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ambition and Motivation: Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill and develop their career.
