Job Description

**Job Title:** Warehouse Operative - Night Shift

**Company:** Devonshire

**Location:** Our client's site in Norfolk

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and stacking empty pallets
  • Moving stocks and items of mail packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, and checking loads are secure
  • Performing daily equipment checks, recharging the truck's battery, and helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary
  • Performing other warehouse tasks, such as picking stock and moving it to the appropriate location on the factory floor, and dealing with stock returns
  • Disposing of waste, including bailing shredded paper waste or compacting

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Friday, 23:00-07:00

Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Operative experience
  • IT literacy and competence in the use of MS Excel
