We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant at a vibrant Primary School in Hillingdon.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management plans to ensure the best possible support for each child.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEND in both the classroom and small group settings, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible support for each child, adapting and creating materials to meet the specific learning needs of each student.
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the school's SENDCo to inform future support strategies.
- A degree in Psychology or a related field, with a genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience, with the ability to adapt to the needs of each child.
- Experience working with children with SEND is an advantage, but not essential.
