Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an individual with a solid history of managing and delivering construction projects valued between £15 million and £45 million, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
As a vital member of our team, you will report directly to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge in complex foundations, reinforced concrete, and steel frame construction. You will be responsible for:
- Implementing the Project Management Plan, ensuring all site procedures and documentation are meticulously maintained.
- Adhering to the Health and Safety Management Plan and BAM Operating Procedures.
- Establishing and monitoring handover schedules, including keys, spare parts, and completion documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with BAM's environmental procedures on site.
- Maintaining a detailed site diary, documenting subcontractor attendance and progress.
- Producing and monitoring quality records to confirm that work meets specified standards.
- Managing both direct and subcontracted labor, along with maintaining accurate records and allocation sheets.
- Providing guidance on buildability issues as necessary.
- Overseeing the management and procurement of materials.
- Utilizing IT equipment for on-site quality assurance and digital information management.
- Taking an active role in mandatory requirements such as COSHH, lifting operations, temporary works, and service coordination.
- Understanding Building Information Modeling (BIM) and utilizing field 360 technology.
Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A broad technical background in construction.
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification, with the capability to perform site management tasks.
- Proficiency in IT systems and software.
- A qualification such as HNC/Degree, MCIOB, or equivalent, or a background in trades.
- A valid driver's license.
