Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for three candidates pursuing the Cardiff Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Forensic Psychology Practice. This full-time, two-year developmental role is designed to facilitate the journey towards becoming a qualified Forensic Psychologist.

Role Objectives:
We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated individuals enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Forensic Psychology Practice. The selection process will involve interviews conducted jointly by the course leads and Oxleas Service Leads.

Employment Conditions:
Successful candidates will be required to apply for the Cardiff training course, and employment will be subject to a probationary period as per Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust policies.

Position Structure:
This role is structured as a split position. For 0.5WTE, the successful candidates will serve as part-time B6 trainees within Oxleas' Forensic and Prisons psychological therapies department. This segment of the role focuses on delivering psychological services to Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) services, utilizing a trauma-informed care model.

In addition to the trainee hours, candidates will also hold a 0.5WTE honorary role within the OPD services, engaging in essential activities for qualification, including research, training, and policy development.
